'Nidderdale.org' is aimed at anyone who takes an interest in the area. Content includes original photographs, material written by myself, articles contributed by others and reproductions of antiquarian material that is not readily available. I am grateful to those contributors who have offered their own work for publication on the site and I am happy to acknowledge their copyright.
The objectives of the site are to increase awareness of the dale's landscape and history and make information about the area readily available to those who are interested in furthering their own knowledge. However, you are asked to respect the normal conventions of copyright, particularly of material published on the site by contributors whose work is acknowledged. The original photographs published in the 'Photograph Gallery' are my own and may be reproduced for non-commercial use, if the source is acknowledged.
The site is now about two years old and has grown considerably in size since its first appearance. Every effort has been made to ensure that the material presented is accurate, if any errors do occur I would be grateful if you would draw them to my attention.
I am particularly interested in collaborative projects with any individuals or groups who share these interests and would be interested in publishing any material of their own, fully accredited of course, which is consistent with the aims of the site.
